🏊🏽‍♀️ Swimming Sports 🏊🏽‍♀️

As Mr martin walked pass with the mini whiteboard that read: "Year 8 girls Backstroke 25m". I stood up out of my seat nervously and walked outside where we were put into our races. Lined up in our races we walked inside and waited for the clapper to go...
"CLAAAP!!!" As soon as the clapper went I swam like crazy! I kicked under the water like a duck, hearing my house, Konini cheering for me pushed me to swim even faster! Talking my last stroke I hit my arm against the wall stood up out of the water and realised I had placed 1st. At least that race was over I thought to myself. I had one more race to swim and that was 25m Breaststroke.
After I got out of the pool, I told the teachers my House and sat back over where my House was, where everyone congratulated me even having Mrs Hirst congratulate me out loud on the megaphone. "Now I have to wait for my last race, Breaststroke" I tell my friends.
"ALL BREASTSTROKE 25M! ALL!" Mr Martin yells through the megaphone. Nervously I got out of my seat. As I hear the whistle blow I jump in the pool, hold on to the cold, silver railing and wait for the clapper...
CLAP! I swam as fast as I could, kicked as fast as I could, each time I took a breath I looked left and right, I'm in the lead! Near the finish line I see Whaea Jamaya taking photos of me and telling me to "smile!" I hear my house cheer for me and motivate me. In the end I placed first. Touching the end wall and hearing my house cheer made me feel proud.
